Dear Members, Friends and Patrons
Best wishes to all and I hope everyone had
an enjoyable Easter.
March and April were a couple of busy months
at our club. We hosted the out of state band
“Buffalo Touch”, March 1
st and 2nd. The event
was enjoyed by all, although we did not have the
best turnout. Many thanks to David and Princess
Bonczkiewicz for their efforts in hosting this
event as well as our kitchen staff and our bartenders
for their donated time and hard work
during this two day event. March 16
th we held
our membership meeting and celebrated St.
Patrick’s Day. As I was not able to be present
at the meeting, I understand it was a good meeting
and I would like to thank our 1
st Vice President
Sylwia Martynowicz for filling in and holding
the meeting. I missed the good corn beef and
cabbage dinner, compliments to our kitchen
staff. Our special event on April 13
th, the Easter
Dinner was very well attended. I only wish we
could have the same attendance at all of our Pulaski
Club events. The Easter dinner buffet included
variety of delicious polish dishes and
desserts. We had many compliments and the
compliments once again go to all our officers,
directors and members who devoted their time
in preparation for that special event. Special
thanks to Kaz and Larry Tysiac for decorating
the hall and adding a special Easter touch to the
table décor. Many thanks to all the ladies and
gentlemen who worked hard in the kitchen preparing
and serving this great Easter Dinner. The
Dyngus Day event was fun and we enjoyed
many different dishes prepared by our members.
Thank you to all who contributed a favorite
dish to our pot luck table.
We only have couple of events in the month of
May before we close for the summer months.

th, enjoy a great
polish style buffet dinner prepared by our
kitchen staff and the music by “Varitones”. I encourage
everyone to attend our
meeting on Sunday May 18
th. The executive
committee makes the effort to hold our meetings
in order to address and advise the membership
of issues at hand, please join us. Hope to see

we will not be holding events at the club during
the summer we all know that the preparations
75TH Anniversary banquet on Saturday
th must continue. I am confident
that all our committees for this special event under
the direction of Henrietta Nemecek will continue
to work at their assigned duties so we can
be ready to finalize our preparations as we reopen
in September. Thank you to all the committees
for being part of this special and important
day for all of us.
As this is the last issue of our newsletter before
we close for the summer months, I wish
everyone a good, healthy and safe summer.

As you know our
in October and we are very happy to have
Henrietta, who is taking care of this huge project.
We are all getting involved!
We are also planning to organize and prepare
the club this summer for this gala Event. We
might end up painting the club during this
summer, and might need extra hands to help. I
know... who wants to paint in 100 degrees? :)
Feel free to provide lunch or dinner for us
while we will be painting or cleaning inside and
out. There is always an opportunity to help - call
me if you have any suggestions! We really want
to make this event special that is why we need
to work together as a team! I know it’s going to
be a challenge, but I have faith that working
together we can do it!

I would like to say
to all the
volunteers who are helping in the kitchen at our
events. Our Easter Dinner was a big success,
what a great turn out and lots of help. I would
like to thank Halina Kosinski, who is always
willing to help when asked, Basia Komar, the
Soltys Family and Rose Offerman who always
offers without being asked and Jean Jorgensen
is always very helpful as well.
Our next big event is the
Dinner on May 4th.
We will be having the
buffet again, and will be serving our delicious
Polish style family dinner favorites.

The Pulaski Club of Phoenix Arizona
is looking for individuals or groups interested
in devoting or donating to our organization
fund as we pursue a new ”BAR”
liquor license. This will allow us to go public
and open our doors on a more regular
basis to the local community. Cost of new
license is $71,500.00.
We will continue to be a
club and continue to rent out our hall for
social events, this will also open our doors
to establish a
NEW local clientele and enjoy
our Polish culture and heritage. A daily
operation, sponsored events, lunch and
dinner specials, happy hours, music venues
and a weekly event schedule.

Get well wishes were sent out to both Bob and
Pat Jayo, and also to Stanley Szczepaniec.
Hope they are all feeling better by now.
Also a sympathy card was sent to Stanley
Szczepaniec and the entire family on the loss of
his wife. Let’s all keep them in our thoughts and

Barkschat and hope he is doing better too.

A generous donation of $250.00 from Mr. and
Mrs. Stanley Serafin was made to be used
toward the kitchen upgrade fund. All donations
are greatly appreciated and are always put to
good use for the good of the Pulaski Club.

Diamond Jubilee banquet. Festivities
will begin at the club hall at 5 p.m.
with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. There
will be a catered sit-down dinner at 6

program. The evening will conclude
with dancing until 11 pm.
