Dear Members, Friends and Patrons,
We held a few events at the club upon resuming activities after our summer break. September 11th “Welcome Back and Member Appreciation” dance was enjoyed by many. September 24th (non-Polka event) hosting Skorpion Band was a success and our special event on October 9th “The Pulaski Day” celebration was well attended as we enjoyed the performance by members of the Paderewski Choir Society as well as members of the Polish Highlanders Alliance violin performance by Mr.Victor Walkosz , his son Andy and daughter Mia under the directions of Mr, Andrzej Krzeptowski. Thank you to all. As usual our kitchen staff did a great job serving variety of Polish dishes and delicious deserts for dinner and I extend special thank you to Halina Kosinski and her staff for a job well done. November 5th and 6th event hosting “Polka County Musicians” (Conn.) was so much fun for all in attendance. A special thank you and appreciation to Mr. & Mrs. Don and Gail Haderle and Mr. Gene Swick for sponsoring this special event. I know it takes many hands and much effort to host special functions at our club. Thank you to David Bonczkiewicz and his crew, Halina Kosinski, Rose OffermanBarkschat, Kazia Tysiac and everyone who helped in preparation for two days of activity and polka fun at the club. Despite the busy day on November 6th, we were successful in holding our membership meeting and the main item on the meeting agenda was elections of all officers, some of board of directors and some trustees. I am happy to report that we were able to fill all positions. Coming up we have a special event on November 19th, “Shine Like a Diamond-Act II” Talent Show. Act I of the talent show was great and fun event. This will be a fund raising event for the Pulaski Club. Please support your club. November 26th is “ANDRZEJKI “ event to the music of the “SKORPION” band. December 11th we will host our Christmas Dinner. Please make your reservations and join us for this special day. I hear we will have a visit from Santa and children are welcome. Once again we will hold “Annual New Year’s Eve Gala December 31st.” More information on this event will be available in the near future and tickets will need to be purchased prior the event.
