Dear Members, Friends and Patrons,
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016 TO ALL!
Our events at the Pulaski Club during November and December were few but well attended and enjoyable. At our last membership meeting for 2015 we were fortunate to fill four positions for the executive committee. Paul Chojnacki and Joe Soltys were elected for Board of Directors. Kathy Barone joined our Trustees and Sidney Barone is the Sergeant At Arms. We welcome our new officers and directors and extend a sincere thank you and appreciation to all out going directors for their diligent service to our club. Newly elected officers and directors will be sworn in at our next membership meeting on Jan 10th, 2016. The Andrzejki event on November 28th was once again a success and enjoyed by all in attendance. Thank you so much to all who made this great evening possible.
Our annual Christmas Dinner/Dance was successful as well with 150 plus in attendance. Once again a great meal was prepared and served by our kitchen staff with pastries provided by ladies of the Paderewski Choir Society and our members. They were all delicious - THANK YOU LADIES. Our Christmas decorations this year are wonderful and I extend many thanks to Kaz and Larry Tysiac as well as all officers, directors and members who extended a helping hand in preparation for the Holidays. A special thank you as well to the Paderewski Choir Society for their performance of the Christmas Carols and Likonik Dance Group from Tucson, Arizona for their wonderful ethnic dance routines We sure hope everyone enjoyed this special day which concluded the club activities for this year. Our final event for 2015 will be the “New Year’s Eve Gala” on December 31. Once again there will be lot of hard work in preparation for this event. Please let our officers know if you can help.
2015 was another challenging year, but due to all the voluntary efforts, hard work and support of our members and patrons we accomplished some of our goals. I hope we can continue our efforts into the New Year to maintain and improve our club for the enjoyment of our members and our community in promoting our Polish culture and traditions.
Please refer to the Schedule of Events for 2016, try to attend and enjoy the entertainment as well as all the good food provided by the kitchen staff.
Best Wishes and many of God’s blessings to all in the New Year.
Mary Kiselus, President
1st VICE PRESIDENT – Kaz Tysiac
Hello Members, Well it is hard to believe that 2015 is almost over! We have had a wonderful year at the Pulaski Club with members renewing promptly and new members coming on board; it is wonderful to see new and old faces at our events. If you still owe your annual membership dues, please see Dennis Pachura at any of our events and he will gladly issue you the new card!
David Bonczkiewicz and Rose Pachura have put their heads together and have come up with a terrific dance schedule for 2016 so keep an eye out for the 2016 schedule that can be found on the table by the front door.
I would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone who has participated in our events and especially those who volunteer in helping out in big and small ways -- every bit of time available from our willing members is very much appreciated. I will have the sign- up sheets available at our next General Meeting on Jan. 10, 2016 so PLEASE sign up if you have an hour or two of free time.
I want to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous 2016. May God keep you safe ... and remember to keep on dancing.
2nd VICE PRESIDENT – Halina Kosinski As we reflect on the last year I want to take a moment to thank everyone for their support of the Pulaski Club. Above all a big THANK YOU to my kitchen help for spending extra time for food prep for the buffet dinners, making Polish dumplings for future events or fundraising or just a simple snack. These ladies are: Barbara Komar, Mary Kuzmin, Grace Koppy, Gina Bochanek, John Soltys, Celina Tomaszkowicz, Stella Wojski and other occasional helpers who either made a dessert contribution or help washing dishes or serving food at the buffet. Rose Offerman took on a bigger responsibility of preparing & serving a whole meal, which gives me an occasional day off. Thank you Rose! Our schedule in the New Year looks very busy and we look forward to seeing all of you at the upcoming events first of which is the New Year’s Day potluck. Pulaski Club kitchen will also contribute to this event but everyone should bring a favorite dish of their own to create a delightful feast for all.
I wish all of you a very Happy and prosperous New Year 2016.
Please continue to support all our events so that our club will remain vibrant and a relevant member of our community for a very long time!
FINANCIAL SECRETARY – Dennis Pachura

We had a few maintenance issues this past year. We just had our soda fountain system updated behind the bar and had to replace the kitchen fan. Speaking of the bar let’s not forget our bartenders they work on tips and tips alone, they do a great job back there pouring your favorite spirit, wine or beer. So the question came up why does the bar have a TIP Jar? Really! Get with the program people. If you are a member and would like to help bartend see any of the board of directors for more info. We have 2 major projects in the works for the following year, our roof insulation and to resurface our parking lot. We will have some fund raisers this spring and looking for donations as well.
