Dear Members, Friends and Patrons,
Welcome back to our club as we resume our fall club activities after the hot summer months in the valley of the sun. I hope everyone enjoyed their summer, kept cool and are all ready to dance and enjoy the club functions.
Before ending club activities for the summer, we held a special event in the month of May in celebration of “May 3rd Polish Constitution”. The event was a success. All in attendance enjoyed the wonderful buffet dinner prepared by our kitchen staff under the direction of Mrs. Halina Kosinski. Thank you so much to everyone helping Halina in the kitchen with meal preparations. As usual great job ladies. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Paderewski Choir Society under the direction of Mr. & Mrs. Baran. The choir performance at this special event was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. And thank you as well to Mr. Case Kosinski for presenting the history of the May 3rd Constitution Day. We finalized club activities with our May 17th Membership Meeting and dance as our kitchen staff served a special meal of “Potato Pancakes”. It was a good meeting and we presented some of the summer projects and welcomed new members to our membership.
Finally we held a Rummage Sale June 5th and 6th which once again was a success and unsold items were donated to Good Will. Thanks to everyone for donating their unwanted items. All donations are greatly appreciated. This fund raising event could not have happened with out the helping hands of our officers and members. Many thanks to Princess and David Bonczkiewicz, Halina Kosinski, Kaz & Larry Tysiac, Paul Chojnacki , Christopher Peterson , Shane Prosser, Rose and Dennis Pachura, Henrietta Nemecek, Jean Jorgensen, Basia Komar and Celina Tomaszkowicz. Great job guys and let’s work on holding the rummage sale in the spring of 2016.
Now that summer came and has gone, we did not accomplish as many projects this summer as hoped, but the dance floor was refinished. Thanks to everyone who helped with this project by clearing the dance floor and cleaning it prior to refinishing. We can thank Joe and John Soltys for doing the job of refinishing the floor. It looks great!!!
As we resume club activities, our first event is our Membership Meeting and Appreciation Dance September 6th with FREE admission for members, veterans and first responders. Please join us at the membership meeting as well as our future club events. Couple of special events coming up are “Pulaski Day” on October 4th and “Casino Night” on Oct. 24th. Our directors and officers make an effort to schedule club activities, please support their efforts, attend the events and support your club.
On a sad note, on July 25th we lost one of our club members Mr. Frank McCune. On behalf of all of us at the Pulaski Club, we extend our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Frank McCune, their son Greg and family and friends. Frank’s presence will be missed. He offered service and support to the Pulaski Club. We will hold on to the memories of time spent with a person who was kind, giving, encouraging, funny and all in all a great person.
Once again WELCOME BACK. I hope to see you all at our club events.
Best Wishes, Mary Kiselus, President

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Alone we can do so little – together we can do so much. “Helen Keller” - Girls Scouts also use this saying.
SUNSHINE COMMITTEE- SHIRLEY SZTUK
During the summer break, several cards were sent out to members. A get well card was sent to Kathy Angevine on her recent surgery, and thinking of you cards went to Lousia Percival and Stas’ Mardeusz. We hope to see them all soon at the Pulaski Club.
Sympathy cards were sent to Princess Bonckiewicz on the loss of her aunt, and to the family of Stanley Szczepaniec on the loss of their father. Stanley was a life time member and held positions on the executive board. Also a card sent to Evelyn McCune and family on the loss of club member, Frank McCune. Another former member Virginia (Ginny) Wisniewski has passed away and the family also received a card. Let us keep all these families in our thoughts and prayers.
