Dear Members, Friends and Patrons ,
HAPPY HEALTHY AND PROSPERSOUS NEW YEAR TO ALL.
We did not have many club events during the months of November and December. We did host Polonia dance “Andrzejki” on November 30 th which was a great success. The success of this event is credited to all officers, directors and members who helped to make this event a great event. Many thanks to everyone who helped with setup, food preparation and service. Our annual Christmas dinner was once again well attended. Our kitchen committee under the direction of Celina Tomaszkowicz did a great job with the buffet dinner. As always we shared a wafer exchanging Christmas wishes, sang Christmas carols and children enjoyed Santa delivering presents. Sincere thanks to Frances Spychalski for the donation of the wafers (OPLATKI).
The club Christmas decorations were wonder- ful once again THANK YOU to all individuals who helped with our Christmas decorating pro- ject. A special thanks to Kaz Tysazc for making beautiful center pieces for our tables, tree deco- rations and a great wreath. We will be hosting a New Year’s Eve celebration on December 31 which is expected to be great event.
2013 was another challenging year for the club. Due to the great voluntary efforts and hard work of our executive committee, standing com- mittees, the support of our members and pa- trons as well as the generous donations from our members we accomplished some of our goals and held many fun events. I hope we can continue our efforts into the New Year maintain and improve the wonderful facility we have for enjoyment of our members and our community in continuing our Polish traditions.
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my sincere appreciation to everyone for sup- porting me in leading the Pulaski Club organiza- tion in 2013 and hope we can all work together and have a great year in 2014. This will be a
special year for our club as we will be celebrat- ing our 75th Anniversary. We will have to do our best to make it a grand event. We have many events on our roster next year starting with New Year’s Day. Please refer to our schedule of ac- tivities for 2014, attend the events and enjoy the good food and entertainment.
Best Wishes and many of God’s blessings to all in the New Year.
WESOLEGO NOWEGO ROKU!
Mary Kiselus, President
1st VICE PRESIDENT – Sylwia Martynowicz Dear Members, Happy New Year to you all!! Hope Christmas was special for everyone. A few days ago I received a phone call from a Polish lady. She was looking for a job as a live- in caretaker. She was quite upset while telling me about how many older mentally challenged women are mistreated. How can people be so brutal to others? Especially at this time of the year. During this holiday time, it is time to cook, time to clean our homes and time to clean our hearts. This is the time to make some amends and to be thankful for all that we have. Today I am thankful for my wonderful husband, who is so understanding while I am devoting time to the Pulaski Club. I’m thankful for my 2 year old twin boys and my 11 year old daughter, all my friends, my job, our members and sponsors, the fact that I have a roof over my head and money to shop for my family. This year with all the repairs and improvements that were done at the Pulaski Club, we could be a bit concerned about our financial status. But again we are thankful for all the people involved with the work, as some of it was donated or discounted. And several momentary donations sure helped with the process. So you see my dear friends, today is the day to say what are you thankful for? (I’m sure your list will be long as mine was). I hope to see you all in the New Year of 2014 to celebrate our wonderful club.

2nd VICE PRESIDENT – Celina Tomaszkowicz Hello everyone and Happy New Year. It will feel good to start a new year of events here at the Pulaski Club. But before I go any further, I want to thank whole heartedly each and every one of the many helpers/volunteers that assisted in the preparation, cooking and serving of the many dinners that were enjoyed here throughout the year. It would not have been possible without all of you. Our first membership meeting and dance will be held on Jan. 19, 2014 and I look forward to seeing you all return for this event and please plan to purchase a delicious meal from our kitchen. And as always if you can help out in any way please contact me. Thank you for all the support that you can give me at any time.
