Dear Members and Friends,
Spring is in the air and we’re getting ready for Easter and the end of lent culminated with our third Dyngus Day party on April 5th hosted, as usual, by Dave Bonczkiewicz and The Varitones.
This month he’s Dyngus Dave, and not Nickelcity Dave, as we all know him.
The kitchen will be open on Dyngus Day and, again, Rose Offerman and Wayne Trinka will be preparing the food for us. I hope that Wayne will bring some of that home made sausage he’s been bragging about.
On Saturday, April 17th, Bob Doszak will entertain on his magical accordion from 5 to 9 PM. We omitted this event in our March issue and incorrect time was posted for the Polka Power Band. For this we apologize to Bob Doszak and to those of you who showed up at 1PM on Friday for Polka Power.
Saturday, April 24th will be the return of Zbigniew Galazka to the Pulaski Club. He’s bringing with him a great vocalist from San Diego and will perform the usual variety of Polish and International music he’s known for. Expect great entertainment but don’t expect to dance Polkas all night. Doors open at 7 and entertainment is expected to last until 2 AM, as the posters show.
Than Sunday, April 25th, John Smoltz’s Diamond Kings will entertain us for the “April in Paris” dance.
If you haven’t had a chance, take a drive in the desert and see the beautiful flowers. For those of you in the East Valley, the Superstition Mountain foothills are in bloom. The early flowers are concentrated on the Eastern slopes but by Easter the whole desert will be in vivid color. Don’t miss it as it is a site we get only after a wet spring and this year we surely had one of those.
On behalf of all officers of Pulaski Club I want to wish you all Happy Easter and as we say in Polish “Wesołego Alleluja i Smacznego Jajka”.

Smigus! Dyngus! All for fun, Dump some water with a smile! If not from a cup, then from a pitcher, Smigus-Dyngus starts at dawn! It's an old Polish custom, just so you'll know and not yell, when on the second day of Easter, your jacket's all soaking wet.

At our membership meeting in November 2009, a motion was made, seconded, and approved by members to increase our dues from $24.00 to $30.00 per year, effective January 1, 2010. Please, check your membership cards and mail a check to the Pulaski Club or pay me your dues in person. Remember, membership dues are now $30.00 per year. If you know of any member who has an address, phone or e-mail change, have them fill out the form in the newsletter or contact me by phone at 480-802-0775.

RENT THE HALL: The Pulaski Club is available for all your social events. Basic club price package is $1,200.00; this includes a 6 hr. rental, cleaning fee, damage deposit (refundable).
